SciVal is a resource that pulls bibliographic data from the interdisciplinary Scopus database and generates automatically built and updated reports. SciVal users can either set up their own reports or work with liaison librarians to develop a report that can be shared. SciVal can also be used to compare departments, colleges or universities. This workshop is meant for the attendee to gain familiarity with the tool and put it to practical use. It should be particularly helpful for early to mid-career faculty.

Directions for getting to the Den of Sorrells Library:

Sorrells Library is on the 4th Floor of Wean Hall, shown on the map here. If you enter in the front of Wean Hall, take the elevator down one floor. When you exit the elevator, the library will be on your left. The Den is in the back of the library.
