Prototyping with Penpot (Penpot 2) (Digital Project Design Series)

The first half hour of this session (1:00 - 1:25pm) will briefly (re)introduce the Penpot interface. We’ll talk through some very basic design principals and introduce the platform. Penpot has a similar interface and set of features to Figma, but, unlike Figma, is open source and has more generous offerings for free accounts. (If you joined us for the Penpot 1 session in September or otherwise have some experience with the basics of navigating Penpot, feel free to join us at 1:30. You are also free to just join us for the first half hour if you're just looking for an abridged overview of the platform.)

In the following hour (1:30 - 2:25pm), we will expand on the basics of Penpot, going more in depth with prototyping features of the platform including components, variants, and interactions.

Files and resources will be provided. Those looking for assistance with their own projects are encouraged to schedule additional consultation time with the instructor.
