Coding in Qualitative Research

This workshop focuses on coding qualitative data using qualitative statistical pakages like NVivo and MAXQDA. The workshop will start by briefly introducing what qualitative research method entails. It will also outline methods of qualitative data analysis, including when such methods can be adapted and how and they can be used effectively. After this, the workshop will introduce how to use NVivo and MAXQDA statistocal packages to analyse texts and other forms of qualitative data.

Directions for getting to the Den of Sorrells Library:

Sorrells Library is on the 4th Floor of Wean Hall, shown on the map here. If you enter in the front of Wean Hall, take the elevator down one floor. When you exit the elevator, the library will be on your left. The Den is in the back of the library.
