Fandom, Pop Culture, and Data Management Online

Did you know that when you engage with fandom through fanfiction, video game mod creation, fanart, and other fan communities, you are working with data? Often, being part of a fandom requires all of the same data management principles we would see in our academic pursuits–including research practices, data curation, and creation of data management workflows. If you’re in a fandom, art community, or just love pop culture topics, join us as we discuss data practices through the lens of fanfiction, gaming, and more!
