Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) with AnythingLLM [In-Person]
University Libraries will host a workshop to help higher education professionals securely interact with their data using AnythingLLM, a desktop application for building custom chatbots without coding. Participants only need to bring a laptop.
This workshop will cover:
- Understanding the basics of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Introduction to the AnythingLLM application.
- Installation and setup of AnythingLLM.
- Building a custom chatbot.
- Use cases and applications in higher education, such as administrative tasks, faculty support, research assistance, and student queries.
- Provide practical insights and hands-on experience to enhance productivity and data interaction skills.
We encourage all attendees to download the latest release for your machine from AnythingLLM or GitHub before the workshop. This session is done in partnership with Computing Services.
