(MUG) Map (& GIS) User Group
Do you use maps and GIS in your every day work at CMU? Are you curious about maps, spatial data or GIS tools? Are you working on a project in ArcGIS or QGIS? Looking for spatial data? Working with GIS tools in R or Python?
Join MUG on the second Thursday of every month for an informal meet-up conversation. The event is in-person from 11:00 am - 12:00pm in the Den in the Sorrells Engineering and Science Library.
MUG is a collaborative hour to ask questions, get feedback, swap ideas and get to know mappy GIS people on campus. MUG is open to people of all skill levels, disciplines, and backgrounds.

Directions for getting to Posner 277:
Posner Hall is in the south east section of campus between the CFA Building (College of Fine Arts) and the (HMC) Highmark Wellness Center: https://www.cmu.edu/visit/ucm-25-027-campus-map-letter_04.pdf. Room 277 is located on the 2nd floor of the building. From the elevator on the 2nd floor, walk straight down the hallway to the first room on your right hand side.
