In collaboration with the Career Office, CMU-Q Library, and the Academic Resource Center (ARC), Ms. Sheren Saad, Educational Support Specialist, will be delivering a hands-on session where you will learn about:

• Steps to take before writing your personal statement
• What differentiates a memorable personal statement from the rest
• Guidelines for structuring your essay and key questions to address
• Common pitfalls to avoid and FAQs

You will also engage in an activity where you analyze what works and what doesn’t in sample personal statements

The session will take place in Room 1030 at 1 pm. Light lunch will be provided for registered students.
