Stats Essentials for Lab Researchers

Stats Essentials for Lab Researchers

Statistical analysis isn’t just for data scientists!

This one-hour workshop offers an introduction to core statistical concepts that can help lab researchers make sense of their data and communicate results more clearly and confidently.

We’ll cover:

  • How to test whether trends you observe in your data are meaningful
  • Why error bars matter (and how to explain them)
  • Which plots best help to tell your data’s story
  • How to spot missing or misleading statistics in published research

This isn’t a deep dive, it’s a starting point. We’ll introduce key concepts and provide resources for getting further help.

No prior statistics experience required!
