Join us for a 2-hour walking tour of the historic Mellon Institute building led by Paul Tellers, the former Carnegie Mellon University Architect. Designated as a National Historic Chemical Landmark by the American Chemical Society in 2013, the iconic building was the former home of the Mellon Institute of Industrial Research, one of the nations premier independent scientific research centers. Visitors will tour the Mellon auditorium, conference room, and the Mellon Library – and marvel at the incredible craftsmanship and design that’s on display throughout the iconic building. 

Tour will begin at the Bellefield Avenue entrance of the Mellon Institute, located at 4400 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213

Tour participants must bring a photo ID to enter the building.
