CMU Libraries Fall 2021 Undergraduate Student Orientation

CMU Libraries Fall 2021 Undergraduate Student Orientation Online

At Carnegie Mellon University Libraries, we understand that finding solutions to your academic needs is paramount to your success. As a source for scholarly information and intellectual collaboration, we aim to provide access to resources in both a physical and virtual space, with a diverse focus on interdisciplinary problem-solving that unites librarians and information specialists on a quest to further develop creative inquiry across all disciplines. An innovative approach for research and a need to make information widely available is what drives us, and why the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries is a trusted partner in your education both on campus and beyond.

For our incoming undergraduate students this year, the University Libraries will be offering two virtual orientation sessions to choose from. Join our librarians and specialists Monday, August 23 or Wednesday, August 25 to find out more about what the University Libraries have to offer. From accessing and retrieving information both in-person and remotely, to asking for research assistance and reserving study space, our orientation team will walk you through the processes needed to ensure a positive experience in navigating your studies. See you soon!
