Text Mining with ProQuest TDM Studio Workshop 1: Working from the Coding Workbench

Text Mining with ProQuest TDM Studio Workshop 1: Working from the Coding Workbench Online

ProQuest TDM Studio is now available to CMU researchers!

TDM Studio enables researchers to text mine large volumes of published content from the millions of news articles, scholarly and other publications that CMU licenses through ProQuest. TDM Studio provides a cloud-based environment that allows researchers to execute queries, develop datasets, and analyze the text of publications by writing data analysis scripts in R or Python or interacting with the pre-defined data visualizations.

This workshop includes two parts (you can choose one or both as needed):

Workshop 1: Working from the Coding Workbench (10/20/2021 at 1 pm EST) (Coding with Python or R required)

Workshop 2: Data Visualization from the Built-in (GUI 11/10/2021 at 12 pm EST) (No coding required)

This workshop will be delivered directly by ProQuest on Microsoft Teams. Register in advance to receive information on how to join.
