1 pm Book Club For Busy People: The Very First One - Children Of The New World
Join us for our very first Book Club For Busy People this semester!
Our meeting is happening on Wednesday 31st August from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in the room CMB 1030. We will be reading ONLY CHAPTER 1 of this month's read, Children of The New World by Alexander Weinstein.
What is Book Club For Busy People you may ask.
This is your chance to discuss thought provoking excerpts, essays, and short stories with cool people from across CMU-Q. We know it can be hard to make the time to sit down and read a whole book, hence our focus on short works. So, if you like what we read here, you can catch up on the rest of the book on your own time. If not, you only read an excerpt, and you have people to respectfully vent to about why you thought it was terrible (or not). Either way you can get a free book and discuss it with cool people!
