1 pm Research Data Management session with Emma Slayton

A visiting scholar from CMU libraries invites all intrested faculty and student researchers to a session on best practices in research data management. What are the recommended practices for data management planning? How do you create robust metadata? This workshop will showcase how CMU Libraries can best support faculty and staff through offering resources and services that target the use, preparation, management, curation, and preservation of research data. This workshop will cover what you need to know when creating and using effective data management strategies and offer some examples of good research data practices.

The session is organized by the CMU-Q library in collaboration with the Research Office.
