SUMMARY:Research Data Management for Neuroscience
DESCRIPTION:Note: This workshop is for students on the neuroscience 
 training grants.\n\nLearning about best practices for data management in 
 the research cycle is the first step to comply with funding policies and to 
 make your research more shareable\, reproducible\, efficient\, and 
 sustainable. In this session\, you will learn recommended practices for 
 making research data and metadata FAIR (findable\, accessible\, 
 interoperable\, and reusable) in the context of experimental or 
 computational research. Topics will include file naming conventions\, 
 folder management\, data storage\, versioning\, Data Management Plans\, and 
 README files. We will also include a description (or demo if needed) of 
 tools and resources that the Libraries provides to support your data 
 management journey. Good research data management practices will make the 
 publishing process easier and ensure that other members of the lab can find 
 and reuse your data after you leave.
