SUMMARY:Research Photo Management in Tropy
DESCRIPTION:Do you work with images in your research? Do you struggle to 
 keep them all organized and searchable\, or wish you could easily add 
 searchable notes and tags to them? Tropy is a free and open-source software 
 that allows you to organize and describe photographs used in your 
 research\, allowing you to quickly assign metadata like creators\, dates\, 
 locations\, and tags for your photographs all in one searchable platform. 
 In this one-hour workshop\, we will show learners the basics of Tropy\, 
 including importing images\, assigning metadata using one of Tropy’s 
 metadata templates\, and assigning tags\, as well as discuss how Tropy 
 supports recommended practices in data management.
